Scarlet Lynne Taylor Seay, 54, Russellville, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at her residence.

Scarlet was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a member of First Baptist Church, Russellville. She was a graduate of the Russellville High School class of 1976 and was co-owner of Northwest Alabama Marble Company.

The funeral service will be Saturday, April 7, 2012, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Russellville. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.  Officiating will be Rev. Richard Parker and Dr. Wade Wallace. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Gardens, Russellville.

Survivors include husband, Bob Seay; daughter, Kerby Seay Smith and husband, Shannon Dale, Birmingham; mother, Dorothy Taylor, Russellville; father, Robert Taylor, Sheffield; brothers, Sammy Taylor and wife, Cindy, Muscle Shoals, and Marty Taylor, Russellville; father and mother-in-law, Houston and Johnnie Seay, Russellville; special aunt, Sharon Sherrill, Russellville; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Hovater, Hugh Hyde, Jo Rudi Trapp, Lance Seay, Bradley Seay and Greg Trapp.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Authur Cliff and Mary Colagrosse Trapp, Fred Andrew and Bessie Thomas Taylor.
