Mary Genoma Crisler

Mary Genoma Crisler, 78, of Phil Campbell, Ala., passed away Monday, December 29, 2008.
She was a native of Winston County, but had lived in Franklin County for the past 13 years. She was a member of the Baptist church.
Funeral services will be Friday, Jan. 2 at 1 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville with Jason Vinson officiating. Burial will follow in Ephesus Cemetery in the Pebble Community. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Crisler of Phil Campbell; children, Parke Crisler of Florence, Rick Crisler of Woodbridge, Va., Terrell Crisler of Manassas, Va., Vanessa Lamprinakos of Frederickburg, Va., and Mary Conneley of Herndon, Va.; brothers and sisters, Terry Benford, J. M. Benford, Sarah Nix, Jackie Hutcheson, all of Phil Campbell, Olive Berry of Haleyville, Shelby Epperson of Haleyville and Janice Anderson of Muscle Shoals; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Randy Benford, Kelvin Benford, Bill Benford, Jed Benford, Jeremy Nix and Scott Benford. Honorary pallbearers will be J. P. Jones, Glen Crisler, Jackie Nix, Orville Jones, Obert Roberts and Tommy Hutcheson.
She was preceded in death by parents, Jessie Marvin and Sallie Benford; daughters, Charlene and Janie; sister, Jennie Abbott; and brothers, Troy, Aaron and Jerry Benford.
Pinkard Funeral Home assisted the family.
