Phillip Randal Wade
Phillip Randal Wade, 65, of Russellville, passed away March 20 at his residence.
Phillip was blessed with a loving wife and two beautiful daughters. Words cannot explain his love for his family. He attended Northwest Junior College and Memphis State University. He loved the Lord and was a member of First Baptist Church of Russellville. He was the owner and administrator of Terrace Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
He truly loved healthcare and the residents, coworkers and families that he has cared for and worked with. He was a founding member and board member of Healthcare Indemnity Insurance Company. He also served on the Board of Directors of Bank Independent of Franklin County.
Phillip had a love and admiration for the outdoors and worked to create a habitat for future generations to enjoy. He devoted countless time to Green Acres Farms, a certified treasure forest.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 42 years, Sherene Smith Wade of Russellville; daughters, Dr. Laurel Wade of Arlington, Virginia, and Lydia Wade, Esq. of Nashville, Tenn; mother, Betty Manasco Wade, of Russellville; brother, Michael E. Wade (Dawn) of Tuscaloosa; niece, Parker Jackson of Memphis and nephew, Robert Dax Wade of Orlando, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roland E. Wade, and nephew, Brian Wade.
Visitation will be held March 23 from 4-6 p.m. at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral service directly following. Bro. Jim Poss and Bro. Richard Parker will officiate. A private family graveside service will be held at Old Bethel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dr. Jim Lindsey, Johnny McReynolds, Neil Willis, Chad Sheffield, Javier Ambrosia and John Smith.
