Belgreen opens fishing season

The 2016-17 Belgreen Anglers participated in the first tournament of the season Sept. 10. At the end of the day, Trey Willingham and Carson Cox finished third place out of 18 boats with Shannon Oliver serving as their boat captain.

The Belgreen team finished second out of the six teams represented. This year’s anglers include Carson Cox, Brady Hovater, David Plott, Triston Stevens, Brodie Vandiver, Trey Willingham, Ashlee Britton Strickland, Patrick Sykes and David Coffman. Melissa Cox is the new sponsor for the fishing team this year.
