Reba Roxie Holland Singleton, 83, of Vina, Ala. died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010 at Helen Keller Hospital. She was born March 10, 1927 in Vina, Ala. to James Jefferson and Dona Isabelle Jackson Holland. She was formerly an employee of Blue Bell and a member of Hurricane Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Friday, Oct. 8, 2010 at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Vina with Bro. Jerry Humphries and Bro. David Smith officiating. Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery.  Deaton Funeral Home assisted the family.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Paul Singleton, of Vina; six children, Mary Frances Fowler and husband, Jimmy, of Corinth, Miss., Pauline Emerson and husband, Steve and Judy Miller and husband, James, all of Hamilton, Ala., Roxann DeFoor and husband, David, of  Moulton, Ala., Golda Mae Watts, of Russellville and Steven Singleton, of  Vina; three sisters, Clarice Jackson, of Red Bay, Nellie Humphres, of Haleyville, Ala. and Cleta Ozbirn, of Vina; one brother, Phona Holland and wife, Esther, of Waukegan, Ill.; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, David Singleton; and a brother, Roy Holland.

Pallbearers were grandsons, Jimmy Fowler, Jonathan Fowler, Jimmy Emerson, Colby Emerson, Joshua DeFoor, Jeffrey DeFoor and David Watts.
