Phil Campbell girls top East Lawrence, Lamar County

The Phil Campbell Bobcats got two big wins last week, beating East Lawrence 51-48 and Lamar County 51-22.

East Lawrence led Phil Campbell 11-10 at the end of the first quarter and 21-20 at the half. Phil Campbell used a strong third quarter, outscoring the Eagles 15-10 to take take a 35-31 lead, and held on for the lead.

Leela Baker led the Bobcats with 21 points, followed by Hannah Welborn with 14 points.

Macy Hardy added eight points, Mia Ambrosio four points, Sidda Rogers two points and IsaBella Ashely two points.

Phil Campbell dominated Lamar County 51-22.

The Bobcats almost shut out the Bulldogs in the first quarter, taking a 15-2 lead. Phil Campbell extended their lead to 31-8 at halftime.

Macy Hardy led Phil Campbell with 19 points, followed by Hannah Welborn with 14 points.

Sidda Rogers added eight points, Mia Ambrosio six points and Ayla Stowe four points.
