Student-athletes spruce up Belgreen

Belgreen High School held its second annual Bulldog Serve day Aug. 4.

“We had 91 student athletes show up on one of their last days of summer to volunteer,” explained Belgreen High School principal Megean Berryman. “It was a huge success.”

Berryman said the students helped get the campus ready in preparation for an open house to be held the next day and for the first day of school.

“These students moved furniture, shoveled gravel, pulled weeds and cleaned and helped teachers with cutouts, bulletin boards, room decor and so much more,” added Berryman.

“Thank you to the student athletes-who worked so hard today. We appreciate you.”
