PHILADELPHIA West Lauderdale took a pair of Division 5-3A wins from Philadelphia Friday night as both the Knights and Lady Knights remained undefeated.
The 11th-ranked Knights posted a 59-50 win as they upped their record to 13-0, while the No. 7 Lady Knights won 58-47 to improve to 14-0.

The Knights jumped out to a 21-9 lead following a layup by Calvin Moore with 1:27 left in the first quarter.
Philadelphia scored the last five points of the opening period and had pulled even at 30-30 by halftime.
The Tornadoes got a basket from Eric Lyons and two from Richard Garrett to take a 36-32 lead early in the third quarter.
West snapped a 38-38 tie on a 3-pointer from a wide open Boo Ramsey in the left corner to grab a 41-38 advantage with 2:36 remaining in the third period and would maintain a lead the rest of the contest.
Clinging to a 43-41 edge, the Knights went on a 7-0 run, getting a putback basket from Lee Nelson, a layup from Ramsey, and a three-point play from Karlos Lewis off the delay game. After taking the 50-41 lead, West never led by less than seven points.
An alley oop dunk by Moore with 1:20 remaining and 4-of-4 free-throw shooting by Nelson gave West a 58-45 lead with 37.8 seconds left.
Moore led the Knights with 23 points. Ramsey hit three 3-pointers in totaling 19 points and Nelson had nine points.
Philadelphia, 3-5, got 13 points from Lyons, 12 each from Garrett and Bobby Goodin, and six from Orie Hudson.

The Lady Knights had their closest game of the season in the 11-point victory.
After scoring nine of the game's first 11 points, the Lady Knights saw Philadelphia pull even at 12-12 by the end of the first quarter. West led 28-21 at halftime behind 13 points from Kristina Gardner and 10 from J.J. Huggins.
With West up 45-35 with 6:40 left in the game, Shannon Lloyd hit back-to-back baskets to put the Lady Knights up 49-35 with six minutes to go. West led by as many as 18 at 55-37 following a three-point play by Gardner.
Gardner finished with 21 points, while Huggins had 15 and Lloyd 12.
Philadelphia, 2-6, got 11 points from Ashley Lowery, who hit three 3-pointers. Dominetrix Hunter had nine points, Skekara Young had eight, and Shenique Brass and Tisha Johnson both scored seven.
