James Cecil Pearson

James Cecil Pearson, 91, passed away Sunday, Dec. 20, 2015 at The Meadows, Fulton, Miss. He was born in Itawamba County, Miss. to Benjamin Clyde Pearson and Mary Lillard Stockton Pearson and was a factory worker. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Church of God of Prophecy.

Services will be Wednesday, Dec. 23, at 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay with Bro. Bill Harper officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Golden, Miss.

Survivors are one brother, Danny Pearson and wife, Jeanette Golden, Miss.; two sisters, Clydia Taylor, Fulton, Miss. and Mavis Winchester, Red Bay; three step-children, Judy Barnes, John Wilson and Don Wilson; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Wilson Pearson, his parents and two brothers, Uvil Pearson and Price Pearson.

Pallbearers will be his nephews, Terrell Pearson, Randy Pearson, Steve Summerford, Kevin Summerford, Ben Summerford and Caleb Ramey.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 23, 12-2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
