Ruby Jo Davidson, 76, of Russellville, Alabama, passed away Monday, June 15, 2015, at her residence.

Mrs. Davidson was a native of Cullman, Alabama, but had lived in Russellville for the past 47 years.  She was retired from the City of Russellville as a police dispatcher and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.

The memorial service will be Thursday, June 18, 2015, at 12:00 noon, at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, with Dennis Steward officiating.  Burial will be in Franklin Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, from 11:00 a.m. until service time.

She is survived by her daughter, Jenny D. Stone; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Davidson; grandchildren, Matthew Davidson, Tyler Stone, Taylor Stone and Ashlee Davidson; brother, Ralph McBrayer and wife, Delores; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, John “8-Ball” Davidson and wife, June.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Gladys McBrayer; husband, Duane Davidson, Sr.; her beloved son, Duane Davidson, Jr.; sister, Ruth Hale; and brother, Rex McBrayer.
