60th Anniversary
The children of Cecil and Christine Trawick will honor their parents with a reception celebrating their 60th anniversary on Saturday, June 15, from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. at Briarwood Baptist Church in Meridian. They were married June 14, 1942. They have four children: Charles, Curtis, and Carey Trawick, and Claire Spradling; and eight grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend.
50th Anniversary
A reception honoring Milton and Joyce Pace will be Saturday, June 29, from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. at Oakland Heights Baptist Church in Meridian. The couple were married June 29, 1952, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Quitman. Mrs. Pace is the former Joyce Covington of Quitman. The reception is hosted by their children and grandchildren, Connie Pace of Jackson, Scott and Cindi Pace, Sarah and Micah of Grandbury, Texas, Larry Bateman and Nathan of Alabaster, Ala. Friends and family are invited to attend. The couple requests no gifts.
