The following are obituaries for April 25

Eva Larue Crittenden, 87, of Russellville, died Sunday, April 20, 2008.
She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. From early childhood, she has been involved in gospel music, convention singings, singing schools, and assisting with the music in her community. She was always an inspiration and joy to her family, loved ones, and friends and she will be missed by all.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at 11a.m. at Union Hill Methodist Church in Phil Campbell with Pastor Tony Pitts, Pastor Dwight Hilderbrandt and Pastor Scott Begley. Burial will be in the Union Hill Cemetery in Phil Campbell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L.C. Crittenden; parents, Herman and Azie Wynn; sisters, Jewell Hutcheson, Juanita Williams, Dawanda Jones; and brothers, Gertrude Wynn, Guin Wynn and Mitch Wynn.
She is survived by her sons, Donald (Sue) Crittenden of Ocala, Fla., Hobart (Sandra) Crittenden of Phil Campbell, Ronnie Crittenden of Phil Campbell, Keith (La-Keta) Crittenden of Haleyville; daughters, Dolores (Dwight) Hilderbrandt of Knoxville, Tenn., Damaris (Allen) Robinson of Cleveland, Tenn., Annette (Leland) Sneed of Russellville, Marilyn (Larry) Stout of Phil Campbell; grandchildren, Ronnie Snipes, Steve Snipes, Julie Hieser, Debbie Begley, Del Hilderbrandt, Becky Horne, Mark Robinson, Danny Robinson, Cory Crittenden, Donnie Crittenden, Sean Crittenden, Brandon Stout, Ryan Crittenden, Jarrod Crittenden; 15 great grandchildren, and a host of wonderful nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will include Brandon Stout, Don Crittenden, Sean Crittenden, Ryan Crittenden, Jarrod Crittenden, and Cory Crittenden.
The family would like to say thank you to all the staff at Terrace Manor Nursing Home and Good Samaritan Hospice for their wonderful care of our mother.

Tony Williams
April 20, 2008
Tony Lee Williams, 36, of Russellville, died Sunday, April 20, 2008, at St. Mary-Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Jefferson County, Tenn.
Mr. Williams was a native of Hartselle but lived in Russellville for the past 20 years. He was a carpenter.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Church on Highway 195 in Double Springs with Jeff Eddy officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 25, 2008, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville.
Mr. Williams is survived by his parents, Billy Ray and Gina Williams of Russellville; daughter, Kirstie Williams of Russellville; brothers, Michael Williams of Hartselle, Jesse Allen of Fayettville, N.C.; sister, Tammy Cloer of Falkville, Ala. and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandy Williams.
Pinkard Funeral Home of Russellville assisted the family.

April 22, 2008
William Thomas (W.T.) Cassel, of Russellville, died Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at his home.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Spry Memorial Chapel in Russellville with Bro. Curtis Taylor and Bro. Billy Jackson officiating the service. Burial was in the Tharptown Friendship Holiness Cemetery.
Mr. Cassel is survived by his wife, Sallie Cassel; sons, Roger (Jean) Cassel, Dennis (Teresa) Cassel, Vanzell (Janice) Cassel; daughters, Jean (Henry) Green, Sondra Garrett (Neal Fuller; stepdaughter, Janell (Tim) Potts; stepson, Talton (Mary) Miller; grandchildren, Jeri Cassel, Charles Cassel, Denise (Jimmy) Willingham, Matthew Green, Caitlin Green, Cody Garrett, Kristal Jeffreys, and Miranda Nipper; great-grandchildren, Justin Britnell, Braydyn Jeffreys, Bailey Nipper and Savannah Nipper; and sister, Evelyn and Lonny Bassham.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred Cassel, and granddaughter, Megan Garrett.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
