Local tourism grant deadline extended

The Meridian/Lauderdale County Tourism Bureau has extended the application deadline for local grant applications until April 15.
Non-profit organizations sponsoring or planning to sponsor an event are eligible to receive funds to help establish and maintain events and to enhance the quality of life for Meridian and Lauderdale County residents.
Applications forms and eligibility rules are available at the Tourism Bureau, 212 Constitution Ave., or by calling 482-8001.
