Billy Joe and Sandra Everett of Hickory announce the engagement of their daughter, Victoria Lynn, to Brian Dockery, son of Jack and Dot Dockery of Franklin, N.C.
The wedding will be Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003, at 5 p.m. at Embassy Suites Hotel in Raleigh, N.C.
Miss Everett is the granddaughter of Billy and Earline Everett, and James and Sara McGee, all of Hickory.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Newton County High School.
Mr. Dockery is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Cragle Dockery of Franklin, N.C., Mr. and Mrs. Gene Frizzell of Franklin and the late Velma Frizzell.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Franklin High School in Franklin and is employed by AT&T.
A reception will be held at The Embassy Suites Hotel in Raleigh.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
