NEWTON Services for Donald E. Bailey Sr. will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Herman Kelly and Ben Peterman officiating. Burial will be in Newton County Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Bailey, 74, of Newton, died Wednesday, June 5, 2002, at Riley Hospital. He was a retired employee with La-Z-Boy South and a member of Newton Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Bailey of Newton; two sons, Donald E. "Donny" Bailey Jr., of Baton Rouge, La., and Johnny Bailey and his wife, Dawn, of Decatur; three stepdaughters, Elizabeth Cleveland and her husband, Donny, of Clinton, Peggy Sessions and Janice Sadler and her husband, Bobby, all of Hickory; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ann Marie Wansley.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Harmon, Mitchell Hammons, Stacy Boykin, Chris Cleveland, Greg Parker and Ken Morgan.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

MACON Services for James H. Cade will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Cockrell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Fred Gerber officiating. Burial will be in Moore Cemetery.
Mr. Cade, 64, of Brooksville, died Wednesday, June 5, 2002, at Baptist Memorial Hospital of Columbus. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his mother, Georgia Lee Cade of Brooksville, five sons, Jimmy Cade and his wife, Cathy, of Stanchfield, Minn., Joel Cade of Henderson, Nev., Jerry Cade and his wife, Sheree, of Stacey, Minn., Jason Cade and his wife, Ann, of South St. Paul, Minn., and Jack Cade of Faribault, Minn.; three sisters, Wanda Redus of Starkville, Ruth Reece and her husband, Rick, of Moss Point, Ann Bethany and her husband, Charles, of Clinton; one brother, Billy Cade and his wife, Margaret, of DeKalb; four grandchildren; several cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edgar Homer Cade.
Visitation will be today from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
MARGARET CLAIRENE FERGUSON

NEWTON Services for Margaret Clairene Ferguson will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with the Revs. Bobby Ferguson, Dr. Leon Everette, and Winnie McMahon officiating. Burial will be in the Ferguson Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Ferguson, 89, of Union, died Thursday, June 6, 2002, in her home.
Survivors include her daughter, Margaret Willis of Hattiesburg; sons, Billy Ferguson and the Rev. Bobby Ferguson, both of Union; a sister, Thelma Floyd of Lawrence; a brother, Calvin Massey of Pine Hurst, Texas; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mack and Anna Bell Weatherford Massey.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for John C. Snowden will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Dewitt Banes, Tracey Marrs and Ed Ivy officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mr. Snowden, 71, of Meridian, died Thursday, June 6, 2002, at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was a retired employee of Pioneer Barnes, Rayner Drugs and Webb Funeral Home. He was a member of West Hills Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret G. Snowden of Meridian; a daughter, Debbie Lynn Stout of Texas; a son, Donald Wayne Snowden of Meridian; two stepdaughters, Gloria Stockton and her husband, Robert, and Dot Tibbetts and her husband, Charles, all of Meridian; a grandchild, Jeremy Stout; four stepgrandchildren, Robby, Adam and Matt Stockton and Vickie Allen; two brothers, Jimmy Snowden and his wife, Mary and William "Buddy" Snowden and his wife, Faye; and a sister, Helen Ivy and her husband, Ed.
