Spider-Man will web his way into Bonita Lakes Mall on Sunday, entertaining families for a fun-filled day of exciting and action-packed shows.
Shows are scheduled for at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. in the J.C. Penney Court. All shows are free and are co-sponsored by Clear Channel Radio of Meridian.
Spider-Man is one of the most popular comic book super-heroes.
Spider-Man's appearance at Bonita Lakes Mall coincides with the 40th anniversary of the web-slinger's first comic book appearance and the recent opening of the record-breaking, live-action film.
The movie continues to play at the United Artists Bonita Lakes Cinema.
Spider-Man, along with two other Marvel classic characters, Spider-Girl and Wolverine, will appear in the 30-minute production of "Who Wants to be a Super-hero."
The first 125 children at each show will receive a free Marvel comic book. They also will be able to receive free Marvel products during the show.
After each show, fans can receive Marvel super-hero autographed cards during a one-hour meet-and-greet and autograph session.
For more details about the Spider-Man show at Bonita Lakes Mall, call 693-3433 or, visit the mall's Internet Web site at www.bonitalakesmall.com.
