Coach Wanda McPhail is excited, and with good reason.
The Meridian Community College tennis coach has gotten a bumper crop of talent that she says will continue the outstanding tradition of MCC tennis.
"We're every excited," said McPhail Tuesday during the signing of three high school standouts – Nathan Sistrunk from Neshoba Central, Rusty Parsons from Philadelphia and Amanda Carden from East Webster. Add Pascagoula standouts Charlotte Heidelberg and Matt McIlheney, both considered top ten talents in the state, and the Eagle program continues to soar.
"We had a great season last year and we have three players returning," said McPhail. "These players will help us out next year. You will see great things from MCC tennis."
