COLUMBUS, Ohio Mississippi State's Matthew Brinson has been cursing Bill Davis Stadium because of all the home runs it surrenders. No more. Brinson drove in all the Bulldogs' runs with a pair of homers as they beat Delaware 4-3 Saturday in the winners' bracket final of the NCAA Regional. The Bulldogs face Kent State in the finals today. Kent State defeated Delaware 12-11 with two runs in the bottom of the ninth inning Saturday night. Earlier, Kent State eliminated host Ohio State 9-8 in the losers' bracket final to advance.
NEW ORLEANS The Ole Miss Rebels were eliminated from the New Orleans Regional late Saturday night with a 16-7 loss to Oklahoma State. He threw 113 pitches in the title game, with 10 strikeouts and one walk.

Look for big things out of the Enterprise Bulldogs this fall. The Bulldogs were impressive in their recent play in the Clarkdale spring jamboree taking an 18-18 draw against West Lauderdale and beating Clarkdale 24-6.
One of the reasons behind Enterprise's surge is linebacker/wingback Daveon Dixon. Dixon is a rising senior and says the Bulldogs will be an improved team.
