Police need help in capturing vandals
The Russellville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the two subjects involved in an attempted burglary at a local pharmacy last weekend.
Russellville Police Chief Chris Hargett said the break-in attempt occurred at Russellville Pharmacy very early in the morning on Aug. 26.
Hargett said video surveillance showed the subjects tried to throw blocks through the front windows at Russellville Pharmacy but the protective glass the pharmacy had installed kept the blocks for breaking the windows.
Even though the did not gain access to Russellville Pharmacy, investigators said the subjects are believed to be linked to a break-in the same night that occurred at Littleville Pharmacy on U.S. 43 where a large quantity of prescription medication was stolen.
Hargett said the suspects appeared to be driving a silver 2008-2012 model Toyota Camry.
Video surveillance of the break-in attempt at Russellville Pharmacy is available at www.russellvillepd.org and www.facebook.com/russellvillepd.
