Ford, White

Mr. and Mrs. Daryl W. Ford of Newton announce the engagement of their daughter, Shelley Carol, to James White, son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry White of Magee.
The wedding will be held Saturday, March 9, 2002, at 3 p.m. at Newton United Methodist Church.
Miss Ford is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse E. Sharp of Meridian, and the late Jacob and Elizabeth Ford.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Newton High School and received a bachelor's degree from Mississippi State University. She will receive her master's degree in May.
Mr. White is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.C. White, and the late Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Stubbs, all of Magee.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Magee High School and received a bachelor's degree from Mississippi State University. He will receive his master's degree in May.
A reception will be held in the church social hall following the ceremony. Family and friends are invited to attend.
