MACON Graveside services for Marietta Binion will be be held today at 2 p.m. at Oddfellows Cemetery with the Rev. Glenn Miller officiating. Cockrell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Miss Binion, 87, of DeKalb, formerly of Macon, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2002, at Mississippi Care Center in DeKalb.
Survivors include a sister, Maggie Mae Binion Scales of Columbus and nieces, Margaret Lynch and Sally Patton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Sallie Deale Binion.

Mrs. Donald, 81, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2002, at Lakeside Living Center in Quitman.
Survivors include a son, William Ray Donald of Waynesboro; three daughters, Joyce Sumrall of Morton, Patricia Conner and Syble Boykin, both of Quitman; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

Services for Kathryn Mitchell Key will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church with the Revs. Buddy Petty, Jim Rickles and Jimmy Sanders officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Key, 78, of Toomsuba, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2002, in her home. She was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church and a dedicated Momma and Mamaw.
Survivors include three daughters, Judith Lynn Crenshaw and her husband, Wayne, Kathy Joyner and her husband, Ray, and Jan Salkeld, all of Toomsuba; grandchildren, Tammy Ratcliff and husband, Todd, of Bailey, Amy Joyner and Kristin Salkeld, both of Toomsuba, a great-granddaughters, Morgan Ratcliff of Bailey; a sister, Marjorie Davison and husband, Lee, of Meridian; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents, J.P. "Dick" and Clara Burkhalter; husbands, Robert Blake Mitchell and Robert Holmes Key; a sister Maurine Burkhalter; and brothers, Morris and Jack Burkhalter.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home and 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Blanks, 90, of Meridian, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2002, in Hinds County.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie Parker Blanks of Meridian; three daughters, Loretta Jones of Ridgeland, Betty Johnson and Sylvia Lockhart of Meridian; sons, Nathaniel Blanks of Jackson and Fred Blanks of Meridian; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mrs. Jenkins, 81, of Meridian, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2002, in Meridian.
Survivors include two sons, Eli Jenkins Jr. and his wife, Corrine, of Meridian and Robert James Jenkins and his wife, Lillie, of Chicago; a daughter, Berda Rush and her husband, Larwence, of Meridian; sisters, Mildred Waters of Meridian and Lois Henderson of Brentwood, Calif.; a God daughter, Beverly Nelson of Meridian.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eli Jenkins Sr.; and a brother, Charlie Mitchell Jr.

NORTHPORT, Ala. Graveside services for Margaret Marise Bounds Brand will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Hickory Cemetery in Hickory, Miss., with the Rev. Wayne Brand officiating. Magnolia Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Brand, 81, of Northport, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2002, at DCH Regional Medical Center. She lived most of her life in Mississippi, but Tuscaloosa had been her home for the last seven years. She enjoyed painting, quilting and dancing.
Survivors include a daughter, Rose Marie Brand Livingston and her husband, Jimmy, of Tuscaloosa; sons, James Earl Brand and his wife, Jane, of Hickory, William Henry Brand and his wife, Marie, of Meridian; sisters, Louise Lucas and Bette Thames of Newton; five brothers, Bill Bounds, Leon Bounds, Rodney Bounds and Ross Bounds, all of Newton, and Giles Bounds of Clarksdale; a special friend, Luther Ballard; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Brand; and a sister, Loraine Bounds Byrd.
Pallbearers will be Rusty Livingston, Ray Livingston, Michael Brand, Henry Brand, Caleb Brand, Tad Dyer, Jamie Dyer, Hunter Johnson and Bradley McQueen.
Honorary pallbearers will be residents of Presbyterian Apartments, the Tuscaloosa Park and Recreation Pickin' and Grinnin' Dancers, Betty Foley, Tim Pactrick, David Fletcher, Johnny Brand and Bill Freeman.

Mrs. Lemon, 94, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2002, at Forrest General Hospital.
Survivors include a daughter, Virginia Thompson and her husband, the Rev. J.W. Thompson.

Mrs. Cater, 77, of Decatur, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Clarke Venable Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Jan Cater McNeill and her husband, Freddy, of Spring Hill, Tenn.; a son, Bruce Cater and his wife, Glenda, and a sister, Martha McElhenney, all of Decatur; grandsons, Jeff Cater of Union, Todd Reeves, Neil Cater and Nathan Cater, all of Decatur; granddaughters, Crystal Cater of Nashville, Tenn., and Nicole Cater of Decatur; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Cater; and a son, Jimmy Cater.
