Saturday Cupid Strikes Again! A Valentine Arts &Crafts Workshop for children ages 4 to 12 will be Saturday 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. The workshop will be at Meridian Museum of Art. Sylvia Peterson will be the instructor. Pre-registration is required and parent volunteers are encouraged to attend.

Feb. 21 "Art for Heart" Art Auction will be sponsored by the Meridian Chapter of the American Heart Association. The art auction will be held at Northwood Country Club 6 p.m.-10 p.m. For more information, call 693-7500.
Feb. 23 "Sahara Zoo" Free Puppet Show will be from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Children must bring an adult to "Share the Fun." This is part of the Black History Month Celebration at the Frank Cochran Center. This is sponsored by the Meridian Arts Council. For more information, call 693- 2787.
Feb. 28-March 6 Meridian Little Theater will present "A Streetcar Named Desire." The Tennessee Williams Pulitzer Prize winning drama has had many successful runs on Broadway. For more information, call 482- 6371.

March 19 SwingDance America is part of Meridian Community College's "Fantasticks" Arts and Letter Series "Extra." The event will be at the Temple Theater in downtown Meridian. Entertainment demonstrating that swing lives through the music of the Big Band Era, Rhythm and Blues, Country Western, and today's Contemporary Music.
