Brand, Ivey

Hollie Loraine Ivey and James Caleb Brand, both of Meridian, were married Saturday, Oct. 20, 2001, in an outdoor ceremony at Nance Hill, with the Rev. Wayne Campbell officiating.
Parents of the couple are James and Jane Brand of Hickory; Loraine Long and James Ivey, both of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are Beulah Lee, and Mr. and Mrs. James Ivey.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Marise Brand and Ed Clark.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Jonathan Thorne, soloist; and Brad and Tammy Jones, pianist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Matron of honor was Lauri Smith of Meridian. Other attendants were Graham Pigford, Charrisa Lafferty, Jessica Kirkpatrick, Angie Richardson and Jamie Ivey, all of Meridian.
Courtney Johnson of Meridian and Addison Brand of Gulfport were flower girls.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Ben Shirley of Chunky, Smitty Smith of Collinsville, Joey Martin of Philadelphia, Chad Tibbetts and Josh Berdami of Meridian, and Michael Brand of Gulfport.
Nicholas Smith of Meridian was ring bearer.
A reception was held at Newton Train Depot following the ceremony. Assisting were Melissa Allen, Angela Alexander, Rachael Alexander, Samantha Johnson, Bobby and Crystal Smith.
After a honeymoon in Colorado, Wyoming and Montana, the couple resides in Hickory.
