James Duane Lovall

James Duane Lovall, 65, of Red Bay, Ala., died Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at the Red Bay Hospital.  He was born July 4, 1946 in Gary, Ill. and resided in Illinois from 1965 to 2011.  He worked at Danville Metal Stamping for 25 years.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, Ala. with Bro. David Kelley and Bro. Jim Lumpkin officiating. Burial was in Berry Cemetery, Vina, Ala.  
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Dianne Lovall; brothers, Lee Lovall and wife, Deb, Ron Lovall and wife, Cindy and  Dave Lovall; sisters, Norma Longmore and Carolyn Martakis; children, Jamie Simpson and husband, Steve, Amanda Cole  and husband, Creighton, Lisa Tepper, and Amanda Brazil and husband, Brandon; grandchildren, Josh Davis, John Davis, Justin Davis, Grace Davis, Scott Simpson, Abigail Simpson, Kyle Simpson, Emily Cole, Drew Harrison, Laken Tepper, Chyenne Ashley and Mason Brazil; one great-grandchild, Baby Drake Harrison; and a host of nieces, nephews and beloved friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Dale Lovall; his mother, Emma Amanda Tingley Lovall McDowell; special step-father, James McDowell; and brother, Mike Lovall.
Pallbearers were Drew Harrison, Josh Davis, Tyler Duncan, Rodney Strickland, James Evetts and Dexter Evetts. Honorary pallbearers were John Davis, Justin Davis, Nick Martakis and Kevin Lovall.
