Micheal John South, 53, of Russellville, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Huntsville Hospital from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Micheal was a member of the First Baptist Church, Russellville.  He served his country in the U.S. Army.  He was a truck driver with STI of Red Bay.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Spry Memorial Chapel.  Bro. Jeff Fleming will officiate at the service.  Interment will be at Old Bethel Cemetery.

He is survived by his daughter, Holly South; sons, Joseph South, Robert Dotson, Brandon Dotson; father, John South; step-mother, Catherine South; sister, Susan Schell and husband, Brent; brothers, Bill South and wife, Tina, Ben South and wife, Teresa, Wayne Sutter and wife, Tonya, James Sutter, and Jon South and wife, Cindy; grandchildren, Max Ambrosio, Audrey Dotson, Timothy Dotson, MacKayla Dotson; and many nieces and nephews that loved Uncle Mike very much and who he loved back.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra South; brother, David South; and grandparents, Ben and Lessie South.

The pallbearers will be his nephews, Isaac South, Anthony Sutter, John Donner, Jermaine Groce, Aaron Speerman; cousins, Leon Smith, Jamie Smith; friend, Roy Cornelison.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the friends and family and for your prayers during this time.
