Culpepper latest coach at Meridian

Dusty Culpepper, a former Meridian High School two-sport standout, was hired Monday as the new Wildcats boys cross country coach and assistant baseball coach, according to MHS athletic director Billy Burnham.
Culpepper, 24, has spent the last two years as the student recruiter at Meridian Community College.
A 1995 MHS graduate, Culpepper helped the Wildcats claim the Class 5A state baseball championship his senior season. He played two seasons at MCC before completing his degree at Mississippi College in 1999.
Culpepper is married to the former Tori Boatner.
