Local youth to open for McDowell show
Local singer Brooklyn R. Hall will open for popular singer Ronnie McDowell when he makes his stop in Russellville on March 26.
This is the first time Hall has ever opened a concert for somebody and she said she’s excited about the opportunity.
“I’m really looking forward to meeting Ronnie McDowell and being part of this event,” Hall said. “It will be a bigger crowd but that’s okay with me because I like to sing for a bigger crowd. It seems like the smaller crowds are what make me more nervous.”
Hall, who is involved in numerous other school activities in addition to her singing career, will actually be very challenged by this performance since she will be out of town two days prior to the concert singing at the All-State Choral Festival at Samford University.
“We’ll be singing and performing on the 24th and 25th then I’ll be coming back on the morning of the 26th and will perform that night,” Hall said. “It will be a challenge, but I’m up for it.”
In the past, Hall has performed at places such as the Hard Rock Café and the Wildhorse Saloon, both in Nashville, and has been featured on the Nashville Spotlight, which is a television program featuring young talent.
