Kelly Elizabeth Roberts of Columbus, Ga., and James Gracey Jr. of Birmingham, Ala., were married Friday, June 8, 2001, on the British Virgin Island of Nevis with the Rev. Eric Smith officiating.
Parents of the couple are Dr. and Mrs. David Roberts of Columbus, Gayle B. Gracey of Meridian and James Gracey Sr. of Birmingham.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are the late Mr. and Mrs. Harve Barcroft of Tyler, Texas, Minnie Gracey of Crosby, Texas, and the late W.D. Gracey.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Attendants were Kiersten Roberts and Katy Roberts, both of Columbus, sisters of the bride. Tanya Gracey Smith of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Lisa Gracey Hall of Dallas, both sisters of the bridegroom, were communion attendants.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Usher was Jon Hall of Dallas.
A reception was held at Four Seasons Resort following the ceremony.
After a honeymoon in France, the couple resides in San Francisco.
