Willie Oneal Miller, 82, of Tuscumbia, Ala., passed away Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010 at Shoals Hospital.

Mr. Miller lived most of his life in Franklin County.  He was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church and through the years served as pastor for several of the churches.

Funeral services were held August 24, 2010 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville with Jeff Whitten officiating.  Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery. 

He was survived by children, Donald D. Miller, of Muscle Shoals, Margarett Farris, of Haleyville; very special friend, Linda Long; sister, Dale Fowler, of Birmingham; brother, Emitt Miller, of Sheffield; grandchildren, Misty Philpott, Andria Penny, Dwayne Gann, Tim Gann; great-grandchildren, Jake Gann, Colin and Luke Gann, Talulah and Audrey Philpott; and several nieces and nephews.
