Jack Swann Owen, 81, Phil Campbell, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at his residence.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 17, 2010 at Spry Memorial Chapel.  Officiating will be Bro. Tim Haney and Bro. Orbie Pierce.  Interment will be in Phil Campbell City Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Owen; parents, Mary Herd & Willie Frank Owen.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Owen; children, Kent Owen, and wife, Charlotte, Sherri Stancil, and husband, Jamie, Alice Brown, and husband, Sean, David Edgar, and wife, Wanda; grandchildren, Christi Nix, and husband, Benton, Ashley Miller, and husband, Matt, Ramsey Owen, Brittany Owen, Whitney Gilley, and husband, Levi, Jacob Spencer, Britney Stancil, Ben Stancil, Heather Willis, and husband, Nick, Seth Brown, Brittney Vandiver, and husband, Matt, Tess Edgar; 4 great-grandchildren, Zack Willis, Annie Willis, Ellie Willis, Levi Vandiver;  sister, JoAnn DiChiara, husband, Joe; uncle, Hugh Owen, and wife, Mimsye; several nieces & nephews; and a host of friends.

The pallbearers will be Ramsey Owen, Jake Spencer, Benton Nix, Matt Miller, Seth Brown, and Ben Stancil.
