Billy C. Stout

Billy Curtis (Sanford) Stout passed away on March 18, 2008, as a result from a brutal and vicious attack he endured on October 19, 2005.
He was born in Russellville on July 6, 1953, to his father, John Curtis Stout, and his mother, Rachel Franks Stout. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and his maternal (Charles Dewey and Pluma Franks) and paternal (John Austin and Alice Lucille Stout) grandparents.
He is survived by his sisters, Sherry H. (Michael) Luna, Brenda (Dale) Samuelson, and his brother, Ricky L. (Gloria) Stout, and his nieces and nephews.
Billy spent the last two and a half years as a resident of Hillview Terrace Nursing Home and the family expresses deepest appreciation and gratitude to the staff there for their compassion and wonderful loving care. The family also expresses their appreciation to all those connected to Wiregrass Hospice for their compassion and assistance during his final days. Many thanks to the Intensive Care Unit of Jackson Hospital who took excellent care of Billy immediately following his attack and to Dr. Thomas Rigsby, whose skills, knowledge, and kind compassion provided much comfort during some very difficult days.
Leak Memory handled funeral arrangements with a grave site service being held at the County Line Church of Christ Cemetery in Prattville, Alabama, on Thursday, March 20, at 3:00 p.m.. Billy has finally found peace and contentment at last.

Edna Mae Isom, 81, of Spruce Pine died Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at her residence.
She lived all her life in Franklin County and was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, March 20, 2008, at Pinkard Funeral Home.
Survivors include grandchildren, Angela Isom, of Andrews, Ind., and Bryan Isom, of Spruce Pine; one great-grandchild, Aaron Isom.
She was preceded in death by husband, Edward Isom and son, James Isom.
Pinkard Funeral Home Russellville assisted the family.
