Services for Nellie Mae Baggett will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Russell Luquire officiating. Burial will be in Devoe Cemetery.
Mrs. Baggett, 91, of Meridian, died Friday, April 27, 2001, at Queen City Nursing Center.
Survivors include a brother, Odell Ballard and a sister, Vivian Robinson, both of Meridian; a niece, Sherrill R. Evans and her children, Dee Evans, Marcus Evans, Robert Evans and Kimberly Evans; a nephew, Christopher H. Robinson and his wife, Sandra, and their son, Harold Robinson, all of Huntsville, Ala.; a niece, Diane Pogue Shirley and her children, Carla Shirley and Eric Shirley; a niece, Norma Pogue Lee and her husband, Fred, and their children, Scott Lee, Randy Lee, Jennifer Lee and Richard Lee, all of Tocoa, Ga.; a nephew, Gerald Pogue and his wife, Shine, and their daughter, Jamie Pogue; a niece, Virginia Pogue Carter and her children, Suzette and Tommie Ann Carter, all of Leeds, Ala.; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Baggett; an infant son; a sister, Elsie Pogue and two brothers, Lee Ballard and Artist Ballard.
Pallbearers will be Marcus Evans, Martin Mangold, Gerald Pogue, Christopher H. Robinson, Gene Smith and Lamar Taylor.
Visitation will be today from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Leon K. McElroy will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at St. Elizabeth United Methodist Church with the Rev. James Morris officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. McElroy, 82, of Meridian, died Thursday, April 26, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include three sons, Leonard Houston and Tyrone Jenkins, both of Muskegon, Mich. and Fred J. Prince; and a daughter, Shirlean Hollis of Chicago.
Visitation will be Thursday one hour prior to the service at the church.

QUITMAN Services for Richard Eugene "Satch" page were held April 3, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jimmy Dabbs and Mitchell McDonald officiating. Pam Whaley gave the eulogy. Burial was in Andrews Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. page, 67, of Quitman, died Monday, April 2, 2001, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital. He was born April 1, 1934, in New Orleans.
Survivors include his wife, Gilda T. Page of Quitman; a son, Barry Page and his wife, Cynthia, of Nashville, Tenn.; a stepson, Steve Whaley and his wife, Pam, of Quitman; grandchildren, Ethan Page of Nashville, Brian Whaley of Baton Rouge, La., Patrick Whaley of Hattiesburg, Rachael Whaley and Sarah Whaley, both of Quitman; and three aunts, Anna Hoover of Ponchatula, La., Josephine Mills of Hampton, Va. and Marilyn Freeman of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and "Teny" Page.
Pallbearers were Brian Whaley, Mike Williams, Joe Edwards, Patrick Whaley, Phillip Williams and Oliver Hopkins.
Honorary pallbearers were Dan Moore, Woodie Abraham, Glenn Brown, Michael Corrigan and Linford Conard.
The family requests memorials be made to First United Methodist Church of Quitman or H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.

Services for Earlen Clark Campbell will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Mt. Valley Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronnie Walk officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Campbell, 100, of Meridian, died Sunday, April 29, 2001, at Queen City Nursing Center.
Survivors include two daughters, Emma Clark and Bessie Key, both of Meridian; two sisters, Rosetta White of Meridian and Annie Lou Scott of New York; a brother, Ocie Rush of Meridian; a grandchild, two great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
BETTY SHANKS
Services for Betty Shanks will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at St. John United Methodist Church in DeSoto with the Rev. George Price officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Shanks, 20, of Stonewall, died Thursday, April 26, 2001, at Guardian Angel Hospice.
Survivors include her mother, Gloria Shanks of Stonewall; her father, Robert Hinton of New Orleans; and three sisters, Latonya Shanks, Sarah Shanks and Keiana Shanks, all of Stonewall.
Visitation will be Friday from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home in Quitman.
