Henry L. Kelly, 22, of 2425 Old Marion Road, was held on a $15,000 bond today following his arrest in connection with the Sunday night burglary of Waste Management, 2301 Sellers Drive.
Kelly was arrested by the Meridian Police Department based on a CrimeStoppers tip, officers said.
Lauderdale County Chief Deputy Mike Mitchell said deputies responding to a burglary in progress met a vehicle coming out of the industrial park where the business is located. Deputies pursued the car, but the suspect got out of the vehicle and ran into nearby woods. Mitchell said vending machines at the business were the likely target.
