Silver Medalist

SILVER MEDALIST Kaitlen Collins recently competed in the MRGA State Gymnastics Championship held in Starkville. Kaitlen was the State Championship Silver Medalist in the All-Around category.
She also won silver medals for her balance beam routine and floor exercise. Collins, eight years old, has been a member of the Meridian Tri-Stars competitive team for three years, and is a fifth year student of Vicki's School of Gymnastics.
She is a second grader at Poplar Springs Elementary School where she has maintained a straight "A" average all year. Kaitlen is also a member of the Meridian Swim Association competitive swim team, and has won several medals in the eight and under age group. Kaitlen is the daughter of Ken and Jane Collins of Meridian. Submitted photo
