RHS alum receives Keller Key at UNA
Ten graduates from the December commencement ceremonies at the University of North Alabama were honored as part of the event as recipients of the Keller Key – including one Russellville High School alumnus.
Patrick Allen Crummie, of Russellville, was among this year’s recipients.
The Keller Key is awarded at each commencement to graduating seniors who have achieved the highest scholastic achievement. Recipients of this award are selected by a committee of faculty, staff and students.
“This is a significant accomplishment for these graduates, and the Keller Key represents the highest achievement a student can attain academically,” explained Dr. Ross Alexander, provost and executive vice president for academic affairs. “It is an acknowledgement of the uncommon dedication and work these students exhibited throughout their educational careers at UNA.”
Crummie graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in interdisciplinary studies. On a scale of 4.0, his grade point average was 4.0.
Alexander presented the Keller Key to Crummie and his fellow recipients during commencement.
