Sherry Lynn George

Sherry Lynn George, 76, passed away Dec. 8 at her residence.

She was born in Mississippi to Luther and Madilyn Hunt Barrett. She was a supervisor at Golden Manufacturing, where she worked for more than 20 years.

Funeral service will be Dec. 11 at 2 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Billy Nichols officiating. Burial will be in Halltown Cemetery, Vina.

She is survived by two grandsons, Matthew Cole (Renee) and Brandon Cole (Bayleigh), and seven great-grandchildren, Bentley, Vaeda, Brenleigh, Madilyn, Chloe, Maddie and Sawyer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe George; daughter, Susan Cole; parents; and a sister, Patricia James.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Cole, Matthew Cole, Greg Miller, Adam Ozbirn, Cody Wilkinson and Junior George.

Visitation will be Dec. 11 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
