Jimmie Rodgers Memorial Festival

DeShae Mouton, winner of the Jimmie Rodgers Memorial Festival Adult Talent Contest, and Britt Gully, portraying Jimmie Rodgers, board the northbound Amtrak Crescent on Tuesday.
They were helped by train attendants O.C. Smith, left, and Romadell Lambert. Mouton and Gully traveled to Tuscaloosa to publicize the festival's Blake Shelton and Joe Nichols concert at 7 p.m. Friday at the Lauderdale County Agri-Center.
Tickets are $12 in advance for adults, $15 at the door and $8 for children under 12. Tickets are available at the Music Emporium and Good Vibrations.
