Hospital Foundation holds first Christmas at City Lake

The Russellville Hospital Foundation is kicking off its first Christmas at City Lake event at 6 p.m. Nov. 30.

The event will include music and feature Christmas trees and other decorations, decorated and sponsored by families, churches, businesses and other community organizations.

The decorated trees will remain in the park through the end of the year.

There is no charge for attending the event. All proceeds from sponsors go to the Foundation and are reserved for a future Emergency Room renovation.

“We have received an enthusiastic response from sponsors, and we are looking forward to seeing what they will create,” said Russellville Hospital CEO Stephen Proctor.

The mission of the Foundation is to build long-term partnerships between Russellville Hospital and local communities to promote the advancement of healthcare, enhance the current services offered at Russellville Hospital and meet the needs and expectations of the local communities.

“We would like to thank Russellville City Schools Park and Recreation Department for allowing us to use the park for this event, our sponsors for their support and contributions, the Foundation Board and our wonderful employees for their hard work in helping get this event started,” said Russellville Hospital chief financial officer Shannon Hughes.
