Eastman, McGowan

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Eastman of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Norma Jean, to Joel Lee McGowan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee McGowan of Star.
The wedding will be Saturday, April 5, 2003, at 3 p.m. at Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ, 1400 Highway 19 South.
Miss Eastman is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Wesley Eastman of Meridian, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Adam Jones of Preston.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School and attended Meridian Community College.
Miss Eastman is employed by Citizens National Bank.
Mr. McGowan is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ottie Lee Minyard, and Mr. and Mrs. Hester Joel Grantham of Jackson.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Clinton High School and attended Hinds Community College, Delta State University, Mississippi College and Jackson College of Ministries.
While attending college, he studied music theory and bass trombone performance.
Mr. McGowan is employed by Bargain Depot of Sebastopol.
A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony. Family and friends are invited to attend.
