Repairs to Congregate Housing in Newton have continued this weekend, according to Mike Robertson, executive director of the Mississippi Regional Housing Authority V.
Residents moved from Congregate Housing after it was damaged by the tornado that hit Newton on Thursday.
Major roofing and systems repair work have been done this weekend. Power has been restored and clean-up is continuing. A recorded message can be heard on the status of repairs by calling (601) 683-9547.
