An elderly woman who lives in the Zero community was the victim of theft Tuesday.
Maj. Ward Calhoun of the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department said deputies are looking for two white men driving a full-size white pickup truck.
While the elderly woman took one of the suspects to a room in back of the house to take measurements, the other man apparently took money from the woman's purse. The incident took place at about noon.
Calhoun said the suspects are two white, middle-aged men, one heavy set and the other tall and thin. He said the department received a report of suspects who match their description visiting another woman's house in the south-central part of the county about two weeks ago.
