Krilecia Michael Gianakos and Drew Michael Reardon, both of Marietta, Ga., were married Saturday, Aug. 17, 2002, at the Meridian Naval Air Station Chapel, with the Rev. Carless Evans officiating.
Parents of the couple are Lt. Col. (Ret.) Kris and Bebe Gianakos of Meridian, Ron Reardon of Lawenceville, Ga., and Brenda Rowe of Pell City, Ala.
The bride is the granddaughter of Lt. j.g. (Ret.) Demetreos George and June Gianakos, and Mattie Earl Griffin of Meridian.
The bridegroom is the grandson of Sam and Ann Hudgins of Jackson, Tenn.
Nuptial music was provided by Leesa Wilkinson, pianist; David Moore and Melinda Martin, soloists.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a scoop-necked white satin gown. The empire bodice was embellished with Austrian crystals. Satin covered buttons down the back enhanced the chapel-length train. She wore an Austrian crystal tiara.
Stephanie Martin of Marietta served as maid of honor. Other attendants were Amber Arnold of Durant, Megan Garrison of Columbus, Hope Kesler of St. Louis, Corey Nelson of Columbus and Jennifer Heitmeyer of Burkburnett, Texas.
Eric Reardon of Birmingham, Ala., brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Allen Davis and Brannon Hall, both of Birmingham, Kristopher Bonds of Atlanta, George Eli Howell III of Brandon and John Rigdon of Tupelo.
Memory card attendants were Mindy Michelle Warren and Windy Michelle Lundy.
A reception was held in the Green Room of Meridian Little Theatre following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Janice Vannatta and Renee Davis. Dance music was provided by Rubber Soul Band and deejay Wayne Sheffield.
After a honeymoon in the Virgin Islands, the couple resides in Marietta.
