Services for Franklin D. McKinney Sr. will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Meridian with the Rev. Dr. Raymon Leake officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. McKinney, 66, of Meridian, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 2002, at UAB Medical Center in Birmingham, Ala. He served in the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army. He was a former employee of the City of Meridian in the Water Department. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for more than 34 years.
Survivors include his wife, Doris E. McKinney of Meridian; sons, Franklin D. McKinney Jr. and his wife, Gale, of Stafford, Va., and John A. McKinney and his wife, Wendy, of Moss Point; step-sons, Clint Hall and his wife, Karis, of Destin, Fla., Mathew E. Hall and his wife, Lucretia, of Petal and Benjamin A. Hall of Petal; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; a brother, Jerry D. McKinney and his wife, Marie, of Slidell, La.; sisters, Dorothy Allbritton of Columbus, Betty Bishop and her husband, Bobby, of Henlyville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis A. and Leona McKinney.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Birmingham Baptist Association or Medical Apartments Ministry, 2008 University Blvd., Birmingham, AL 35233.
Pallbearers will be Benny Duett, Haskel Smith, Micky Vick, Melvin Burnett, Joe Mabry, and Eddie Johnson.
CATHERINE MARVINE PUGH

BATON ROUGE, La. Services for Catherine Marvine Pugh were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Trinity Methodist Protestant Church. Burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Baker, La.
Mrs. Pugh, 68, of Baton Rouge, formerly of Stonewall, died Thursday, Nov. 7, 2002, in her home. She was valedictorian at Stonewall High School in 1952 and a retired dental assistant.
Survivors include are her husband, Jasper Pugh, sons, Dean Pugh and his wife, Sharon, Garry Pugh and his wife, Cindy, Daryl Pugh, Byron Pugh, and Galen Pugh and his wife, Tammy, and Oren Pugh; a brother, the Rev. Elton Brand of Stonewall; eight grandchildren, John, James, Elizabeth, Kathleen, Amy, Brent, Jackson and Ethan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie Brand and Viola Brand.
Pallbearers were her sons.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Ercille Sistrunk were to be held today at 10 a.m. at John E. Stephens Chapel. Burial was to be in Arlington Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Sistrunk of Philadelphia, died Monday, Nov. 11, 2002, at Leake Memorial Hospital in Carthage.
Survivors include her son, Vernon "Wayne" Sistrunk of Philadelphia; sisters, Eva Willis of Philadelphia, Ruby Lee Dixon of Hot Springs, Ark., and Faye Willis of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

UNION Services for Nora Etoile Measell will be held today at 2 p.m. at Milling Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul DeMoney officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Congregational Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Measell, 83, of Hickory, died Monday, Nov. 11, 2002, at Newton Regional Hospital. She was a member of Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church.
Survivors include her children, Peggy Bishop and her husband, Kent, of Hickory, Kenneth Measell and his wife, Kathy, of Decatur and Pauline Laird and her husband, James B., of Little Rock; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; a step-sister, Georgia Rainer of Union; and a step-brother, Jack Terrell of Corinth.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Ham" Measell.
Pallbearers will be Junior Laird, Lance Roebuck, David Ferguson, Danny Champion, Woody Chaney, Ronnie Henderson and Tarrilee Terrell.
ANNIE MARIE KEARNS SCHAFFER
Graveside services for Annie Marie Kearns Schaffer will be held today at 2 p.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Vicksburg with the Rev. Scott Reiber officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Schaffer, 82, a longtime resident of Vicksburg, died Monday, Nov. 11, 2002, in Meridian.
Survivors include her brother, Billy Lee Kearns of Vicksburg; nieces, Margaret K. Blackwell and Chris A. Kearns, both of Vicksburg; a cousin, Rande Brandon Brown of Enterprise; one great-niece and three great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund H. Schaffer.
CHARLES ROBINSON
Mississippi State University chemistry department employee
Services for Charles "Chuck" Robinson will be today at 2:30 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve McCullar officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Robinson, 53, of Starkville, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
