The East Mississippi Community College Lady Lions fell to 1-18 with a 101-81 loss to Northeast Mississippi Community College Monday night at Booneville.
EMCC held a 53-50 lead at halftime of the high scoring affair, but Northeast came roaring back in the second half to pick up the 21-point win.
Former Meridian High School standout Kim Davis poured in 29 points to lead the Lady Lions. Freshman Kenyetta Moore of Kemper County added 13 points for EMCC.
Four players scored in double figures for Northeast.
East Mississippi men 72, Northeast 60: In the second game of the evening, the Lions came out of the gate strong and took a 37-21 lead into the locker room at the end of the first half.
The 16-point deficit proved to be too much for the host Tigers to overcome as they were only able to whittle the lead to 12 points by the end of the game.
Raphael Edwards scored a game-high 20 points for East Mississippi, which kept alive its postseason hopes with the victory.
LaMario Mapp added 19 points for the Lions and Dennis Williams pitched in 17 points.
Northeast got 12 points each from Keenan Oliver and Kendrick Hallaway.

Sumter Academy girls 49, Marengo Academy 17: Sumter Academy's girls remained perfect in region play with their lopsided win over Marengo Academy Monday night.
The Lady Eagles improved to 17-2 overall and 8-0 in the region.
Jess Watkins had seven steals to go along with her game-high 15 points to lead Sumter Academy.
Leslie Ann Pope led Marengo with six points.
Sumter Academy hosts its Region Tournament beginning Thursday.
Action is slated to start at 5 p.m.
