Alpha Omega Lancaster Harrison

Alpha Omega Lancaster Harrison, age 77, Red Bay, passed away March 19 at Red Bay Hospital.

Mrs. Harrison was a miracle woman, living far longer than doctors had ever expected her to.  She was a fine Christian lady, strong-willed, and loved everyone around her. She loved being a caregiver.

The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. March 21 at Spry Memorial Chapel in Russellville.  The funeral will be at 1 p.m. March 22 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Berry Cemetery in Red Bay.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Barbara Humphries and husband Bobby and Julia Tidwell; son, Jackie Harrison and wife Sherrie; grandchildren, Adam Humphries, Nikki Tidwell and Summer Harrison; sister, Vernell Mattingly; special friend, Arlie Belcher; and  a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Harrison; father, Grover Lancaster; mother, Lottie Lancaster; brothers, Ted Lancaster, Pat Lancaster, Homer Lancaster, Elmo Lancaster and Clyde Lancaster; and sisters, Etta May Flanagan, Illene Bohannon, Dean Hart and Shirley Wright.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Generations Nursing Home, the staff at Red Bay Hospital, Dr. Fab and to Spry Memorial Chapel for the love and care shown towards the family.
