Earlene Markham
Earlene Markham, 85, passed away Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016 at NMMC. She was born in Tremont, Miss. to Hersey and Flora Creekmore. She was a member of Pentecostal Faith Church.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, Jan. 12, 3:30 p.m. at Hodge Cemetery, Golden, Miss. with Bro. Jimmy Massey and Bro. Merlon Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Hodge Cemetery. Survivors include two sons, Larry Markham and wife, LeAnn of Iola, Tex. and William Markham and wife, Paulette of Spruce Pine; special grandson and granddaughter and caregivers, Joey and Jennifer Markham and their children, Kaylee and Briana of Golden; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one brother, Raymond Creekmore; three sisters, Maxine Sanford, Evelyn Ermis and Lillian Sweeney.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Markham; one daughter, Nancy Bain; two grandchildren, Matthew Markham and Candie Bolivar; her parents; three brothers, Alford Creekmore, Bill Creekmore and Jerry Creekmore; and one sister, Rosetta Creekmore.
Pallbearers will be Larry Markham, William Markham, Joey Markham, Bo Vick, Ellis Hill and James Vinson.
Visitation was held Monday, Jan. 11, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
