Jason Miller announces Franklin County Commission District 2 Candidacy
Jason Miller has announced his candidacy for County Commissioner, District 2.
“I believe that I can bring an open mind and a fresh perspective to the table,” Miller said as he announced his intention to run as a Republican for the office of Franklin County Commissioner District 2. “I am ready to work with my fellow commissioners to make our county an even better place to live than it already is. I’ve always cared about my community, and serving it in this way has been a lifetime goal.”
Jason currently serves the City of Russellville as a firefighter. He is also owner of Miller’s Affordable Furniture, located beside Frosty Inn in Russellville. He is a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a 2000 graduate of Russellville High School.
“I’ve lived here all my life, and I serve the citizens of the county every day. I also spend a lot of time talking to them at my store. I am very closely connected to the people have a good understanding of what they want to see happen in Franklin County,” he said. “One of those things is having our county commission give more support to our volunteer fire departments that are a very important service to our local communities.”
Miller also added that the sheriff’s department, county employees, county road s and Franklin County Schools are areas for which he would work hard.
He is married to Belinda Williams Miller, and they have two sons, Hunter and Jaxon. He is the son of Terry and Judy Miller of Russellville. They are all members of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.
