Helen Lanell Gober, 78, Red Bay, died Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the Red Bay Hospital. She was born April 22, 1937 in Mississippi to Jim and Docie Mansell. She married Charles O. Gober on July 25, 1953. She was a faithful servant to Jesus and a member of Eastside Church of Christ.

Services was Saturday, July 25, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay. Bro. Danny Fuller officiated.  Burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Red Bay. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, will be in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are one son, Charles F. Gober and wife, Stacy and two grandchildren, Rylan and Reese Gober.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, two brothers, Pat Mansell and Elmer Mansell and a sister, Bonnie Koehler.

Pallbearers were Scott Hamm, Terry Mansell, David Tiffin, Richard Hammock, Telford Hamm, Woody Edwards, Randy Elliott and Bruce Tooley.

Visitation was Friday, July 24, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
