Wayne McCoy House, 76, of Phil Campbell, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015.

Mr. House was a native of Franklin County, Alabama. He lived in Davie, Florida for several years before returning to this area. He attended Gravel Hill Missionary Baptist Church.  He was a retired contractor and was owner/ operator of A.J. House & Sons Construction and Gravel Hill Ranch and Farms. He was past chairman of the Franklin County Water Service Authority. His hobbies were classic cars, gun collections, music, flea markets and cow barn sales.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2015, at 6:00 p.m., at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2015, at 2:00 p.m., at Shady Grove Cemetery, Phil Campbell.  Olan Burcham and James Nichols will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Survivors include children, Ty House, Gregory Wayne House, Laura House McRae and Julie House; sister, Shelby Dean Strickland and husband, James; brothers, Hugh House and Doug House; grandchildren, Benjamin Wayne McRae and Rachel Morgan McRae; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Jackson House and Verla Inez Watson House.
