Ruby Mae Burks, 90, died Saturday, May 9, 2015, at her residence. She was born in Franklin County, to Turner and Lottie Bentley Martin.  She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Services will be Tuesday, May 12, at 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Lloyd Ray Griffus officiating.  Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery.  Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two children, Pansy McKinney and Clara Faye Holland and husband, R.V., both of Red Bay; special great-great grandson-Gregory Blanton; three grandchildren-Sandra Shaw and husband, Ken, of Pontotoc, Sherry Owens of Guntown and Robert Holland and wife, Chrissy, of Red Bay; five great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband-Lois Burks, an infant daughter; four brothers; three sisters; and one great-grandson-Michael Blanton.

Pallbearers will be Ken Shaw, Robert Holland, David Mohr, Matt Brown, Chad Red and Craig Young.

Visitation will be Monday, May 11, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
